COMMENTS:
USA: Looks different in different
sites. Is more precocious and dwarfing than Mazzard. Vigor varies
in trials from 50% to 70% of Mazzard.
Krymsk 5 similar size to GiSelA
6 (90% of F12/1);
more
precocious than GiSelA series; less flower density reduces thinning
and other characteristics; extremely sensitive to viruses; flower
density between GiSelA 5 and Maxma 14.
Krymsk 5 and
6 are dwarfing and precocious; more precocious than Mahaleb, Mazzard
and Colt; well spaced buds on 2 year old wood; very virus sensitive
(if infected within 2 years, trees will die); Krymsk 6 is very similar
to GiSelA12 for vigour and precocity; Krymsk 5 is slightly more vigourous
than GiSelA 6; less flower buds, tougher plant than G6, very grower
friendly; the weakness of the GiSelA series is overcropping, heat
or overwatering; K5 and K6 handle this better with better root systems.
