March 1999 Balhannah Nurseries was acquired by Joyson. The addition of the Nursery
complimenting their existing business of the largest Apple and
Cherry grower in
South Australia. As fourth generation Apple growers, you will find there’s
not too much the Joyce family doesn’t know about growing Apples.
This
expertise now headed by sons
Mark and Brett Joyce will flow through to the Nursery creating a new insight
in the Balhannah Nursery story continuing the family traditions on which form
the
foundations of their success.
The production team incorporates a wealth
of expertise and knowledge with a combined total of over 70 years of Nursery activity
ably supported by an enthusiastic crew who care and nurture our trees to their
best.
 A friendly atmosphere from our sales staff ensures that your order and any
queries are handled in a professional manner with information on new and
existing varieties readily available.

PRICE
Prices are subject to order quantity. Contractual agreement options available
to approved customers. Payment terms are 25% deposit on confirmation of your
order and balance payment on delivery of trees.
DELIVERY
Irrespective of the distance which orders are to be forwarded, clients can
rest assured that their trees will reach their destination in perfect condition.
We have numerous letters on file confirming this. We have shipped trees to
all states of Australia, as well as Indonesia and Malaysia without any adverse
effect on the trees. We personally deliver our trees in our own truck to
most major areas in South Australia.
GENERAL REMARKS
We have over 250 varieties currently listed, with many more available on request.
Our budwood source areas has in excess of 2,000 trees ensuring that the budwood
selected is the best available. We are always prepared to work special or
old varieties. It must be remembered that it will be 12 months before the
trees are available to you and that we must have the wood by the end of February
for budding or by the end of August for grafting.
