BENEDICTE
A FRENCH PEACH VARIETY (EXCLUSIVE TO ANFIC)
Fruit:
Size 68 to 80mm - large, round with minimal suture and slight dimple
at the blossom end.
Skin: Mottled red/pink on cream/green skin - 40 to 90% colour. Low
pubescence.
Flesh: Firm, white flesh with some bleeding from the stone.
Brix 14%.
Stone: Medium size, semi clingstone.
Maturity: Second
week of February in Orange, New South Wales - Central Tablelands.
Comments:
Excellent eating quality with a strong flavour and good texture.
