The Australian Nurserymen’s Fruit Improvement Company (ANFIC) Ltd welcomes our newest member to ANFIC in Forest Home Nursery (Judbury, Tasmania) after they purchased the ANFIC Propagation License from Kemps Murray Valley Nurseries (Barmera, SA).

Tasmanian based Forest Home Nursery has joined ANFIC to provide growers with increased options on alternative varieties to capitalise on cool climate growing areas. This association will provide ANFIC with direct access to Tasmanian growers for the first time.

Forest Home Nursery works to the future with a focus on innovative tree production. Its objective is to produce a quality product that meets customers’ requirements to deliver future industry production and market requirements.

Wesley Hazell, owner of Forest Home Nursery, is excited about the new direction. “Membership of ANFIC will provide us with the strategic opportunity to be allied with a recognised and respected industry group. In addition, ANFIC will enable Forest Home Nursery to access innovative new royalty varieties to market to Australian growers and increase our scope to produce other tree types such as pears and other stone fruit”.
