Ebony Sun

An Agri Sun plum variety

Fruit:

Large 52 - 65mm, black, conical shaped fruit. Resistant to rain cracking.

Skin:

Black.

Flesh:

Yellow with strong bleeding from skin, will turn full red. Firm, juicy and non-melting. Brix: 19 – 24°.

Maturity:

Between Angeleno and Roysum - mid April.

Pollinators:

Requires cross pollination - Friar, October Sun, Black Amber and Howard Sun.

Comments:

Tree is moderately vigorous. Produces heavy crops requiring thinning. Fruit holds well on tree and in cold storage. A recent commercial release in California, U.S.A.
