2010/2011 Variety Evaluations - Bathurst, NSW

WEEK 10 - 10 January 2011

Comments: The weather leading up to this week has seen increasing sunshine and some heat. Mornings early in the week down to 15C. Maximum temps in high 20's. No rain.

Agate WF Peach 10/1/11 - This is a medium chill variety from France. Average 87mm fruit (290g) with average TSS (15 Brix) this season.

Solar Sweet apricot 10/1/11 - The fruit had 10-20% red skin blush, 47mm (57g) fruit (unthinned), average 14 Brix. No cracking even after 20mm rain. Nice apricot flavour. Approx. 80% crop load after a poor pollination season.
