Skin: 100% deep red skin colour

Flesh: yellow, semi-free stone

Flavour: Good flavour, 15 Brix.

Peak Size: Average 80mm, 210g

Shape: round, no tip

Cropping: Heavy

Patterson Apricot

First Pick: 21 December

Blossom Time: Mid to late season

Skin: yellow-orange skin colour

Flesh: yellow-orange

Flavour: Average flavour, 15 Brix.

Peak Size: Average 48mm, 63g

Shape: oblong

Cropping: Heavy

Other Comments:

Russian T1 Apricot

First Pick: 21 December

Blossom Time: Mid to late season

Skin: yellow-orange skin colour with green background

Flesh: yellow

Flavour: Good flavour, 25 Brix.

Peak Size: Average 38mm, 34g

Shape: round

Cropping: Heavy

Other Comments: Too small with significant cracking, not commercial.

Benmore Apricot

First Pick: 19 December

Blossom Time: Mid to late season

Skin: Orange with 20-30% red blush (very similar to Mascot, see Week 3)

Flesh: Orange

Flavour: Good flavour, 15 Brix.

Peak Size: Average 50mm, 70g (based on 3 fruit)

Shape: Slightly oblong

Cropping: Good (first year of cropping)
