Other Comments: Firm dense texture with a sweet, rich apricot flavour

 

 

NJA 105 Apricot

First Pick: 18 December

Blossom Time: Early to mid

Skin: Orange with 10-20% light red blush

Flesh: Orange

Flavour: Good flavour, 17 Brix.

Peak Size: 56mm 78gm

Shape: Slightly Oblong

Cropping: Good

Other Comments: Very nice, attractive and large fruit

 

 

Orange Red Apricot

Skin: Orange with 10% light red blush

Flesh: Orange

Flavour: Excellent, 17 Brix

Peak Size: 52mm 65gm

Shape: round

Cropping: High

Other Comments: An excellent late apricot, maturing after Trevatt. Handles and stores very well. Good for bottling and drying. The tree is of medium vigour and regular shape. Fruit set and productivity is high and consistent. Fruit hangs on the tree even when fully ripe.

Solar Flair Apricot

Skin:orange with 10% light red blush

Flesh: Orange

Flavour: Good flavour, 13 Brix.

Other Comments: Did not crack after 12mm of rain. No pit burn after 37°C


 

Solar Nugget apricot

Skin: Orange with light red blush

Flesh: Yellow- orange

Flavour: Good flavour, 17 Brix.

Peak Size: 57mm 99gm

Shape: Round

Cropping: Very low

Other Comments: Fruit showed no cracking after rain.

 

 

Tiffany Peach

First Pick: 18 December

Blossom Time: Mid season

Skin: 90% deep red.

Flesh: white

Flavour: Good flavour, 14 Brix.

Peak Size: 65mm 142 gm

Shape: round

Cropping: Good

Other Comments: Good tree vigour and good productivity even on young trees (3rd leaf trees produced 2 trays at Bathurst). Too many split stones (>60%).

Saturn Peach Peento/Flat Peach

First Pick: 18 December

Blossom Time: very early

Skin: Red

Flesh: White

Flavour: Excellent, 11-13 Brix

Peak Size: 72gm

Shape: round

Cropping: High

Other Comments: A sweet and aromatic fruit.
